SMARTWI

SmartWi is a Wireless Multi Room Solution for households with more than one receiver - set top box / flat screen TV.

With this wireless Multi Room Solution you can share one original subscription card between all your receivers in your household (max 5-6 receivers at the same time).

Each TV set must have a card reader. Many reletively new TVs have a card reader or CA/CI slot for a cardreader module (CAM). Older TVs may be connected via a set-top box. Each receiver must have access to the TV-signal from an antenna/coax cable.

During operation, the main subscription card is inserted into the SmartWi Master, and the SmartWi client cards are inserted into each receiver. The digital EMM and ECM data packages needed for continued operation of pay-TV are provided via the SmartWi Wireless Solution, while the regular TV-signal with the encryption keys are provided via the antenna/coax cable.

SmartWi is a safe and secure system. Each SmartWi Master and client are paired/locked, making unauthorised access to your subscription card impossible.

SmartWi does not work with encryption systems using card pairing (i.e. NDS Videoguard, Nagravision), or CI+ encryption.

The SmartWi Multi Room Solution works on most common set top boxes / TV for Satellite, Cable or Terrestrial systems and has been tested on following encryptions systems.
