If you have problems with communicating smartbox - clientcard or you have bought one extra clientcard you have to "pair" or marry the clientcard to the masterbox. The folowing procedure describes how to do. You must have installed the drivers and windows software before doing this.

Step by step

1. Download the software SmartWi_New_IP from the download page.

2. Connect the masterbox to the PC USB cable.

3. Start loader program and load Smart_Wi_IP to the masterbox.

4. Disconnect the masterbox from the USB cable.

5. Connect the USB cable.

6. Insert each clientcard for 10-15 seconds

7. Start loader program and load the firmware for your need- look at the download page.

8. Disconnect the masterbox from the USB cable.

9. Connect the masterbox to USB cable or extern power

10. Insert each clientcard for 10-15 seconds.

11. Insert your original card for 10 seconds.

12. Insert each clientcard for 5 seconds and the ATR is transfered to the
clientcards.

Now the SmartWi is ready for use!


"Om du av någon anledning inte får kontakt med ett klientkort eller om du köper ett eller flera extrakort så måste du "para" alla klientkort till just din masterbox. Jag förutsätter att du har installerat windows programmet för att uppdatera Masterboxen.

Gör följande:

1. Ladda ner programvaran SmartWI_New_IP från downloadsidan.
2. Anslut Masterboxen till PC.
3. Starta laddningsprogrammet och ladda ner SmartWI_New_IP till masterboxen.
4. Ta bort masterboxen från USB-kabeln.
5. Anslut kabeln.
6. Sätt i varje klientkort i 10 - 15 sekunder.
7. Ladda ner den firmware som du skall ha i din mottagare (titta på downloadsidan vilken som är aktuell).
8. Ta bort masterboxen från USB-kabeln.
9. Anslut kabeln.
10. Sätt i varje klientkort i 10 - 15 sekunder
11. Sätt i ditt originalkort i 10 sekunder.
12. Får nu över ATR (Answer To Reset) genom att sätta i varje klientkort i c a 5 sekunder.

Nu ska det vara klart för användning!"

i have one smartwi master with 5 client cards (3 cards Ver 3 and 2 cards Ver 6). The 3 cards Ver 3 work very good, but pictures for the 2 cards Ver 6 freeze everytime. i have 5 receiver Aston Simba 202s and i use for my smartwi master software 217a. What should i do to get my 2 client cards Ver 6 as good as the 3 client card Ver 3?

i have 4 client cards and want to add another.....but with T1 protocol i can only run 4 cards simultaneously.Can i add another card , giving total of 5 as long as i only run 4 at the same time??????
i have tried adding a 5th card with no success by removing smart card and reinserting all client cards for 30 seconds.The 5th card refuses to work....even if only running 1 decoder.......

You can have 5 cards. Just do as descriebed above and it shall work.
